Beijing Study & Campus Programme
Student groups travel differently from leisure groups: the day has to be predictable, the meeting points have to be obvious, and there has to be enough time to eat and rest. This programme is built around those constraints.
The programme in outline
- Campus visit — entrance, grounds and a walk through the teaching buildings, arranged with the host institution
- The Forbidden City — a guided walk with a shorter, focused route for students
- Daily briefing — meeting points, behaviour, timings and the day’s contact number
- Evening rest — no late activities on arrival and departure days
What we need from the school
- Age range and number of students and accompanying staff
- The learning focus of the trip and any institution the group wants to visit
- Arrival and departure windows, and the maximum length of a walking day
- Dietary requirements and any medical notes the group leader wants us to hold
Practical notes
Campus access is granted by the institution, not by the operator, and lead times vary. We confirm access in writing before the programme is contracted and build a heritage alternative if a visit cannot be confirmed.
Group sizes for student programmes are set by the coach capacity and the number of accompanying staff. Tell us the ratio you work to and we will cost the programme against it.
